Awesome detail. I printed a few to test fit. It was a really snug fit and some of the pin holes where clogged with resin (this could be because of a old batch of alcohol). Is it possible to correct the fit and maybe widen the pin holes just a hair. I'm going to give it another go with different resin. I printed on AnyCubic Mono at .02 layer height using AnyCubic water washable resin V2. Again I prefer the detail over the other I printed.
Try better resin and then let me know how it went :)
I tried a different resin and results didn't improve. The thickness of the center guide is 1.64mm the gap to receive the guide is 1.58mm, center guide is too wide for the opening. Inside measurement from end connector to end connector is 15.43mm the out side to outside of pads are 15.43mm making a tight fit. Again I like your product and see the potential please take this as constructive criticism from an average 3D printing hobbyist.
Something is wrong, because I have printed many sets and had no problems with them. Here is an example of my friend who installed this set for Abrams: https://modelwork.pl/topic/59393-m1a1-fep-abrams-1-batalion-czo%C5%82g%C3%B3w-rfm-135/
I can agree that for Cults the files could have had looser fits. Are you missing more space in the width of the moving parts? Are you talking about the outer and middle connectors?
Yes just a little more space would be perfect. Otherwise I can make them work with some sanding.
Give me some time, I will add models with more space between parts and bigger holes for pins.
I just added looser models, you can and test :)
Success! Fit was noticeably better. The pin hole on the end connecters was great, but I still had issue with the pin hole's on the pad. It would clog with cured resin. I decided to print the track vertically and the they came out perfect! I attached the few test prints with ease. Thank you for the awesome customer service.
