The colors on these demo photos are amazing, what filament(s) did you use?

You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Iβve tried printing this with both v1 and v2 of the outer gear. I canβt get the mechanism to twist open. Iβve tried assembling different pieces of the box together to see what the issue is and it seems to be the outer gear.
Any advice?
Did you already install the top lid? The gears will only turn well, when the box is fully assembled, because the top lid stabilizes the top portion of the doors. Also I would highly recommend to lube the gears with handy oil or silicon oil, if you have trouble with getting them to move. Some filaments can have a slightly sticky surface, using lubricant removes this problem.
One more thing to check, is if you have a good first layer on the gears (no elephant foot) to ensure they can grip each other well.
I hope this helps!
Appreciated. I was trying it without the lid to see if I could get it to turn.
One thing I just did is disassembled it, removed the compartments and then put the whole thing together without them. It turned fine. So whatβs jamming it seems to be the connection of the outer gear and the drawers.
If I pull it open by the drawers, itβll twist. Not if I do it by the screw though
Please try applying lubrication to the gears
