Hi! Try ing it again, sometimes the file gets corrupted while ing. Inside the ZIP you should find 3 folders with the 3 Dog variants πŸ˜‰. Let me know if you still find issues and I'll be glad to help

What is the difference in the files that says tabs vs the one that don't?

Hi! They have some small tabs in the "knees" that help with bed adhesion and can be easily removed later.

Any luck printing these at larger scale? I sized 220% and made height 260%, rotated and it will just fit. Im going to give it a shot, but curious if anyone else has done so. I wonder if the spacing between the ts will be too big.

Sure! Just be careful if you scale them down. I've managed to print them at 40%, but I don't recommend going below 50%.
Also, I've got the best results printing them directly on the base (without raft). But this can be a bit tricky to tune...

Hi!
I own an Elegoo Mars Pro (the old one), so yours should be even more capable than mine.

If your printer is well calibrated, just place the model flat on the base (I use Chitubox as slicer), slice and print. I recommend using the model with tabs, and thoroughly clean the base for good adhesion.

Regarding the parameters, that depends on the resin you're using.

Once you get more experience with your printer you will be amazed with the things that can be done without s ;)

A question: its original size is around 14 cm? When I opened the file it occupied the entire print area of chitubox. If so, do you think I could halve this size by placing the model on the Y-axis of the print area instead of the X-axis, which is the larger area?

Depending on the model you opened, they are from 11 to 16 cm approx. You can scale them down a bit to begin with (let's say 80%), and go smaller if the print succeeds.
In my case I went directly to 50%, but don't take me as an example hahaha. I like to stress my printers and push them to the limit, but I usually recommend going step by step, otherwise may be frustrating.

Also, I forgot to tell you: to properly clean the prints before curing, especially the remaining resin inside the legs articulations. If any residue is left there, it may cause the articulation to fuse together while curing.

It really was perfect. I did the initial calibration. Do I need to do other calibrations besides the initial one? What exactly did you do to print this way? These are really small pieces and I thought that was the problem. Did you use a special resin for this?

I used the Elegoo water washable resin, nothing special.
Before getting the best results I had to print several tests to find the optimal layer exposure times, because that usually changes from one resin to another one, and also between printers.
From your pictures it seems you are over-exposing the layers, so you are loosing the fine details.

I'm afraid I'm not a resin expert, and all I can share are my previous experiences. I've just printed with Elegoo resins so far, and the articulations came out sharp and free. Other models have also amazing details (like this one I printed a while ago: https://www.instagram.com/p/CIJK067LAuY/). For the cleaning, I use 99% IPA and a magnetic stirrer, nothing special here neither.
So I'm not sure why your results are so different. You should get what you see in the slicer preview. If the model is correct there, it makes no sense that the final print is fused all together.
Maybe trying with a different resin makes a difference here.

Yes, it also works on FDM. It can be printed without s directly on the base, but you will have to be very careful when removing. Be careful also if you downscale it too much, because that may cause the "elbow" ts to fuse together. Best results with a very opaque resin and a proper IPA cleaning before curing.

Just default PrusaSlicer settings. I guess it's the setting "ensure wall thickness" (or something like that) the one that made a good top finish. For other slicers you may try increasing the number of top layers (6-7 worked for me with Simplify3D in the past)

Actually I already tried printing it hollow with 1.6 mm wall thickness. Looks great except for a bit of pillowing on top.
What was your slicer settings?

Yes, 100% no s. And they can be printed hollow, but it may be tricky for the bottom part of the leg ts. It worked for me with PrusaSlicer.
