Had some trouble with specifically the tail staying adhered to the bed, so I ended up printing with organic s and I increased my layer height to 0.16mm with a base layer height of 0.20mm. Looks great, took a pic but guess I can't it, new to this site. Cheers op, you made my daughter really happy, she lost the other one we bought her.

Hi! I'm currently printing this now (PLA). It failed a few days after i got the printer, which is my first. I have since adjusted my z-axis and now running at lower speed and slightly higher temperature (205 and 65 on bed) on first layers, with no fan. Will turn on fan on layer 4 and lower temp to 200/60.
Im also using 30% infill. I see in the comments that you dont use infill, so I was curious on why you haven't mentioned any slicer settings? I see some people have on their designs, but us new guys need everything with a spoon :)
I have also ed the articulated dragon which i will try again some time.

Hi! I didn't mentioned any slicer settings because there are no real constraints for this print. There are no tight tolerances or such, so it can be printed almost at any size with any settings. The only real concern for this kind of prints is the bed adhesion, and that is completely different for each 3D printer. Not counting the umpteen mostly failed test square prints this is only my second print (first was a model file that come with printer) and it come out obsoletely perfect exactly as shown in your videos. I used standard Ender 3 V2 printing settings 0.12 and 20% infill. Printing 2nd one now and base looks perfect....... got 6 to print for as party favors for daughters birthday.

I printed mine with 0.16 mm layer height and 0% infill, but they can be printed almost with any parameters ;)

Out of curiosity, has anyone been able to print it successfully on the resin printer? I've made a few mistakes with mine:
a) printed at 50% scale
b) cured the print before freeing the ts by articulating them
Going to take another shot at it at 90% scale tomorrow (had a very hard time fitting it on Photon Mono), but this time, I'll wiggle it loose before the final curing step.

I did it at 50% scale, and it was very very delicate. As you said it is important to free the ts before curing. And also a thoroughly cleand with IPA to remove every bit of resin, especially from the leg ts (these are the most tricky). I use a cheap magnetic stirrer and works fine. Good luck!

That's weird... This one should be easier to print than the octopus. Be sure you are using the last version with tabs. If you have good bed adhesion the only remaining issue may be curling/warping due to poor layer cooling.

I keep having issues when I try to print this model. I have had good success with the octopus and elephant models. The issues I keep having are either layer shifts about halfway through the print, or one or more of the legs gets knocked loose during the print. I'm going to try again on a raft to see if I have better results. if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. I verified that all of my belts are tight, so not sure why the layer shifts happen.

I am having the same issue but I can print the lazy dog and other files with the same filament without any issues so I'm very confused...
