Note: I’ve created a Patreon to my modelling projects. If you’ve found my work useful, have the means, and would like to my efforts, please give it a look. I will continue to release my designs for free on Cults 3D and Thingiverse, but Patreon will get early access and in progress updates on my new projects, and it will serve as a central location for announcements. Thanks for reading!

This is the 27th expansion parts kit meant to complement my original Star Trek Constitution Class Parts Kit. In this case, I’ve collaborated with Art Braune - a lifelong Treknologist and Trek Archivist, to delve into the depths of old fanon Trek manuals to come up with something a little different. From Geoffrey Mandel’s Starfleet Handbook, Volume 13, the “Class I Equivalent - Klingon Imperial Fleet”.

When originally published in 1978, this article included side profile artwork for several ships designed by Patrick Flannery, and later versions of the handbook would add designs originating from Todd Guenther, Eric “Jackill” Kristiansen, and Marc E. Shamma'a. While many of these designs have had more detailed blueprints or 3d models made over the year, Art and I have attempted to take a fresh attempt at rendering these ships using only the original side profile artwork as a guide.

While this was originally going to be a small kit containing some additional parts to add to my existing Klingon kits, it grew more substantial and with the number of designs increasing, I’ve decided to break it up into two kits. This first kit primarily focuses on larger combatant designs.
See my Cults3d Profile for the full list of parts kits I’ve released so far. Each of these kits includes combined ships and ship parts STL files, along with blender source files used to create them. Ship files should be ready to print. Part files are provided so you can import into your 3d modelling software of choice to combine and modify to easily create your own ship designs. All parts are meant to be cross-compatible between kits.
Included Ships
This kit includes the following ships:
B-1 “Jul’kar” class battleship
This tri-nacelle monster uses a slightly modified D-7 main hull with a massive command hull bristling with disruptor turrets, disruptor cannons, and photon torpedo launchers.
Kit includes TOS and TMP versions.

D-6 “Raxor” / K-6R “Hyill” (Romulan) / D-7 “Kolode” class battlecruiser
According to the article, the TOS era D-7 was nearly identical to the earlier D-6 cruisers. The model included is nearly identical to the version I released as part of Expansion Kit #3: FASA Klingon Ships, but includes a few small tweaks along with several large improvements to mesh quality.

D-7 “K’t’inga” class battlecruiser
As with the TOS version, this motion picture era model includes improvements over my previously released version.

K-5 “Dupat” class light cruiser
A smaller cruiser with similar lines to the D-7. Kit includes TOS and TMP era versions.

Marc E. Shamma'a’s K’t’orr is a fairly unique Klingon design, with a large heavily armed command hull paired with a smaller engineering hull.
