Nel vasto universo del Drift in scala 1/28-1/24 sono tante le offerte, la scelta è ampia e la tecnologia avanzatissima, ci sono molte tendenze e la predominanza è la possibilità di variare le impostazioni ed il o.

WlToys K989/969 sono delle ottime “Entry Level” e la loro configurazione mi ha subito fatto innamorare, tanto da dedicarmi completamente alla loro modifica ed evoluzione.
Il telaio K989 ha delle ottime caratteristiche, è ben bilanciato e lo spazio ben organizzato, anteriore e posteriore non troppo ingombranti e la posizione del motore sul pianale rendono possibile l’utilizzo anche di scocche di piccole dimensioni, inoltre l’utilizzo di ingranaggi a differenza delle cinghie le rende più durature e performanti.
Ovviamente non sono perfette, vanno migliorate, perciò progetto e creo i miei telai, per migliorarle, mantenendo il concept originale, ma portandolo ad un altro livello come il telaio MONK9.

In questo caso invece nasce un telaio totalmente nuovo, con o regolabile da 90 a 128mm circa, impostazione di Camber, Caster ,Toe e Ackermann variabile, Body Roll System ed ingranaggi elicoidali per un miglior scorrimento, totalmente stampabile.

Necessiterà solo di ferramenta proveniente dalle WLToys K989/969 e da Orlandoo Hunters, come viti, bulloni, cuscinetti, teste a sferae ammortizzatori.

Troverai una guida o o per aiutarti nella stampa e nel montaggio, seguila e soprattutto, DIVERTITI!

Inclusi in questo kit ci sono i Nuovi Cerchioni JMG S3 20 - 22 - 24, con offset che va da 0 a 4 con un range di 0.5 e due tipologie di copertoni, uno per stampa in resina ed uno per stampa FDM.

Per stampare i cerchioni in resina seguite le impostazioni indicate dal produttore della resina, si consiglia ABS o NYLON.

Per la stampa FDM le impostazione consigliate sono queste:

Stampalo con una risoluzione di almeno 0.12/0.15 , 1 linea x Parete, riempimento al 100% e o a zigzag intorno al 25/35%. A faccia in su sul letto. Il resto dipende da te.

Il “JMD24-FrontBumper” non va montato.

Junior Monkey Garage is proud to present the New 2024 JMD24 Chassis.
In the vast universe of Drift in 1/28-1/24 scale there are many offers, the choice is wide and the technology is very advanced, there are many trends and the predominance is the possibility of varying the settings and the wheelbase.

WlToys K989/969 are excellent "Entry Level" and their configuration immediately made me fall in love, so much so that I dedicated myself completely to their modification and evolution.
The K989 chassis has excellent characteristics, it is well balanced and the space is well organised, the front and rear are not too bulky and the position of the engine on the floor makes it possible to use even small sized bodies, furthermore the use of different gears of the belts makes them more durable and performing.
Obviously they are not perfect, they need to be improved, so I design and create my own chassis, to improve them, maintaining the original concept, but taking it to another level like the MONK9 chassis.

In this case, however, a totally new chassis is born, with adjustable wheelbase from about 90 to 128mm, variable Camber, Caster, Toe and Ackermann settings, Body Roll System and helical gears for better sliding, totally printable.
You will only need hardware from WLToys K989/969 and Orlandoo Hunters, such as screws, bolts, bearings, ball heads and shocks.
You will find a step by step guide to help you with printing and assembly, follow it and above all, HAVE FUN!

Included in this kit are the New JMG S3 20 - 22 - 24 rims, with offset ranging from 0 to 4 with a range of 0.5 and two types of tyres, one for resin printing and one for FDM printing.
To print resin rims follow the settings indicated by the resin manufacturer, ABS or NYLON are recommended.
For FDM printing the recommended settings are these:
Print it with a resolution of at least 0.12/0.15, 1 line x Wall, 100% infill and zigzag around 25/35%. Face up on the bed. The rest is up to you.

The “JMD24-FrontBumper” must not be mounted.

ITA:
Per stampare questo Telaio è preferibile la Stampa SLA in resina, ABS o Nylon, seguendo le relative impostazioni di stampa e gestendo i i in base alle proprie abilità e preferenze.

Tuttavia è possibile stamparlo anche in FDM (anche se gli ingranaggi saranno difficili da stampare) seguendo l’orientamento predefinito del file, aggiungendo i solo dove strettamente necessario.

Le impostazioni FDM dovranno essere le seguenti:
Altezza layers 0.1 / 0.12 max, numero pareti = 1, infill 100%, usare BRIM solo se si ha scarsa adesione al piano e solo sui file di piccole dimensioni, tenere una velocità preferibilmente bassa e non stampare se possibile troppi oggetti insieme.

Tutti i file sono stampabili sia in SLA che in FDM, tranne alcuni che hanno un doppione in cui nel nome del file c’è la sigla “FDM”, ciò vuol dire che i due file saranno lievemente differenti, che la sigla FDM indica che tale file è stato ottimizzato proprio e solo per tale stampa.

In caso abbiate una stampante FDM, tutti i file sono stampabili senza problemi, unico suggerimento è di trovare il modo di stampare gli Ingranaggi con stampa in Resina per un migliore funzionamento ed il Motor Mount in PETG, ABS o NYLON.

To print this Chassis, SLA printing in resin, ABS or Nylon is preferable, following the relevant print settings and managing the s according to your skills and preferences.

However, it is also possible to print it in FDM (although the gears will be difficult to print) following the default orientation of the file, adding s only where strictly necessary.

The FDM settings should be as follows:
Layer height 0.1 / 0.12 max, number of walls = 1, infill 100%, use BRIM only if you have poor adhesion to the surface and only on small files, preferably keep a low speed and do not print too many objects together if possible.
All files are printable in both SLA and FDM, except for some which have a duplicate in which the acronym "FDM" is in the file name, which means that the two files will be slightly different, which the acronym FDM indicates that this file has been optimized specifically and only for this print.

If you have an FDM printer, all the files can be printed without problems, the only suggestion is to find a way to print the Gears with resin printing for better functioning and the Motor Mount in PETG, ABS o NYLON.
