You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
I ed the file. When I loaded it in Bambu Studio it loaded only all black after slicing. Does the file not include the colors as shown in picture? I have ed it twice and both times the stl when sliced is all black?
In addition, I get an error message indicating there are 6 non-manifold edges and the model needs to be repaired?
You indicate it doesn't need , however after slicing i get error message there are floating areas and it needs s.
It also has to be simplified as too many triangles. At first slice (without simplifying) it took 15 hours to print after I painted in the colors and over 500 filament.
Something seems wrong with the stl.
Thank you for your ! Let me address your concerns:
STL File Colors: The STL file does not include color information as STL format inherently doesnβt textures or colors. The painting in the preview image is hand painted.
Non-Manifold Edges: While the file has been thoroughly checked, it should print correctly without any repairs. Some slicers may flag non-manifold edges unnecessarily, but they donβt typically affect the print.
s and Floating Areas: The model was designed to be printed without s. However, slicers sometimes misinterpret certain features as floating areas.
4.Complexity and Print Time: The model is detailed, which can increase slicing complexity and print time. Simplifying the mesh is optional and may affect the detail level. The filament usage depends on your slicer settings such as layer height, infill percentage, and shell thickness.
If you're still experiencing issues, let me know which specific slicer settings you're using, and I'd be happy to assist further!
Sorry. Iβm using bambu slicer. Printer is A1 with AMS. Thanks for fast reply.
