Full 3D printed Tourbillon. No metal axis, no bearings, no metal bolts and nuts.

me dura un minuto exacto, a todos los que lo ven les fascina, aparte es un modelo exelente para entender el funcionamiento de un tourbillon y progresar en impresion 3d (ya que es dificil de imprimir) no es caro (ni el modelo ni la cantidad de material que usa) y simplemente eligiendo bien los materiales y colores para las piezas puede quedar realmente duradero y estetico.me encantó.RECOMIENDO REALMENTE IMRIMIR "SPIRAL BALANCE" EN ABS E INTENTAR EL RESORTE DE TENCION EN ABS.

Good model. Printed on Bambu X1C with the .08mm High Quality profile in PLA Basic. At first it would stop after a few seconds, but after getting moving parts aligned (not pressed on too tight giving room between parts) on pins it runs for about 55 seconds. Thanks.

Great model. This is the first of 4 different models of "fully 3d printable" tourbillons I've tried printing that has worked immediately upon assembly. It'll run for about 25-30 seconds currently. I'm going to see how tuned I can get it. My wife has already asked me to make some for her and her work friends (they work in an office, fidgets are life savers). Fair price, thank you for your work.

It looks awesome... have assembled 2 but can only get about 4 seconds of motion. Tried old fork+escape/updated fork+escape and I think the updated works better. However, I think the issue with mine are the balance spring/balance weight as the last guy said. Will be ing videos to my socials.

It didn't work for me either. I made a heavier Balance_ weight and it works even longer than the original

I printed the tourbillon using the Bambu Lab P1S, and it worked perfectly right after assembly! This demonstrates both the excellent quality of the tourbillon and the reliability and precision of the 3D printer. I didn't need to do any tuning; it worked straight out of the box. I printed all the parts at once in just 5 hours at the default travel speed of 500 mm/s and 0.12 mm layer height. Thank you for sharing your work on this tourbillon.

printed in PLA at .08 layer height Bambu x1C. all parts fit together perfectly! assembled as per your video on YouTube, never read the instruction files, got mine to go for 1:07. what a fun build, showed me what my printer is capable of and its a great gadget! totally worth a couple bucks!! thank you.

What filament should i print this in? Should i just use normal PLA or PLA+?

Putting the assembly instructions in .gif form is probably one of the absolute worst decisions you could've made. No rewind, no pause. 3 frames per movement. had to rewatch the instructions 40 or 50 times to glean anything meaningful with the 400 total pixels.

This model should be free, it's a good test print, but not recommended, as it lacks instruction or documentation. and IF you get it to work it will be a 10-second cycle. Overall, please don't buy it. I hope the creator will make it free.

wished you'd have said you ned 6 pins or 2 of these etc. i had to go back and print other bits cos I did'nt realise I needed multiples of some bits no big deal but it would have helped.

I had to sand quite a bit, but I love it! I printed this as a gift in the first place, but I'm now thinking about printing it for myself too.

Love this model! Had to reprint a couple parts as I didn’t realize s were on in my settings.
Tolerances are great on my X1C and I’ve got mine to run consistently at 45s-1 min.

printed this and reprinted just about every component. Sanded thigns that looked like the may cause friction, and used drill bit as described. I can't get it to consistently run for even the majority of the mainspring. It'll tick for about 3-4 seconds. Not sure if its the balance spring or not enough weight in balance. Doesnt seem to be any resistance anywhere. Kind of at a loss.

I had a difficult time assembling this. The tolerances were too tight on most parts printed from a Bambu Labs A1. I broke several screws and had to reprint and then could not get the escape gear to move smoothly and ended up breaking a piece off the main axis and had to scrap it all.

any tips i have not been able to get the screws to thread.

The build instructions don't specify the material. Will it hold up with PLA or should it be PETG / ABS?
