You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
This model looks great! My only problem is that when I try to print it, it's full of chambers that trap uncured resin, which I know will leak out later. Is there any way to remove these chambers?
Print it solid. Sorry for your resin costs... Lemme know if that doesn't work.
how do I print it solid? Is there a tool for removing the chambers?
By default the model should be solid. Something in your software is automatically hollowing, which gives leaky chambers. Look around in your print settings and see what you can find online about your specific software. If it turns out you software can't change settings, scroll down to the bottom of any Cults webpage and click on makers toolbox. That'll help you find free softwares to do what you need.
PS. The setting you're looking to change will be before you "slice" the print. In most softwares, you can edit hollow thickness while you're positioning the model.
