Hi! I love this design. Do you think the box/bed/tray portion's tolerances would allow for peel and stick felt to be added to it? Like what you have shown on the top of the tower portion in the photos above. I have some stone dice that I usually have to roll in a felt tray. But if I can put felt on this one, I am good to go! Thank you!

Hello. I've glued felt to one of my trays and it works great as a tray, but once you've added the felt, the tower will no longer fit inside. I've also glued felt to the inside of the tower, but it's tricky to get right. I use the tower "naked" without the felt because I like the clickety clack. I've used my lapis lazuli dice with the naked tower and tray and haven't had any problems, except noise complaints.

Hey. I printed this out and it looks good. Any tips for cracking the case part of it once it's printed? Mine is all kinda fused together.

Hi Rem437! You shouldn't have to crack it, it should be stiff at first, but not fused together. Have you tried recalibrating your extrusion? There's probably a guide online somewhere for your brand of printer.

Thanks, but I really wasn't trying to print it again. I ended up taking a welding torch to both sides of each seam and bent it back and forth until the filament cooled. Seemed to work well. I'll post a make when I get a minute πŸ‘

UPDATE 2020-05-22: DiceBoxCaseV2 does not slice properly in PrusaSlicer 2.2.0. (It works fine in Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.36.2). So I've added a DiceBoxCaseV2b which appears to slice fine.

UPDATE 2019-04-03: I've added an improved v2.0 case and clasp (STL files ending in V2). I noticed that the clasp would break after a while when made with cheaper filament, so I've strengthened the clasp. I also changed the case to have a deeper channel for the clasp to slide into.
