3D printer file info

3D model description

This was difficult because both MWO and CGI have very good Black Knight models. I love them both. I just wanted something a little different and I wanted to challenge myself by not following the artwork. So, how does one make a mech look armored like a knight when every mech is armored? I opted to really focus on overlapping plates like on plate mail.

I made 9 variants, one of which is a custom upgrade of the BL7-KNT-L (3 ERLL 6 MPL). I do not go past the Red Reaper and 12 models, as Dark Age version have a very different look. The Ian model has a dorky extra pose for smushing Capellans.

I scale to around .095 ml/ton, so that puts this model at a tall 52mm but it does not look at all out of scale next to the much chunkier Orion at 48mm. Models print in four parts. I would print in very thin layers on an SLA printer.
