Will this one work with resin printed components? I noticed some boxes are using spring like mechanism so would require more flexible material.

If you have your resin printer dialed in well, it should work, but I did not try it myself. These boxes have no spring like mechanisms.

hey there i love these designs youve made however the skelletonised hourglas model wont finish it gets to the last bit and the leaf bits dont stay still and move when theyre being printed on. i feel like a cuttable brace is needed near the top when it gets past the section where it holds the tube bit in place. using the setting you reccomend on my X1c. any ideas?

Hi,
the most important thing is bed adheson. I would try to clean the build plate with isopropanol and applying some kind of bed adheson spray or glue stick. If you still have problems with parts getting loose during the upper layers , I would also decrease print speed and make sure that part cooling is sufficient, to avoid unclean overhangs, which can also lead to the nozzle knocking the print over.

hey again. i have done those things. Even though the print is holding well i feel like because it is too tall its bound to move, I might just put it into tinker cas and add s tiny bridge between them at the start of the top part. I love this design but im on my 5th print of it. It just fails at this stage everytime. I have a clip of it i can send if you have any ideas? thank you for responding so fast

Hmm, I never had this issue on my Bambu P1S and I printed a lot during testing. However I still see the potential risk of the rather high gear rods. On one of my other designs I did exactly what you described and added a small bridge, which needs to be cut afterwards, but with this design I wanted it to be completely free and working straight off the build plate.
What I think keeps happening with your prints, is that maybe due to slight overextrusion, too high printing temps, too high chamber temp etc. the overhangs, when the doors at the top are printed, are slightly unclean and get in with the moving nozzle and then get knocked over.

hello! I recently acquired this model package, but I have had serious problems with the base mechanism, since I cannot make it rotate, I don't know what parameter I am using wrong and I have tried several but after 6 mechanisms I cannot make it turn :( I'm printing it on a neptune 4 pro.

Have you tried spraying lubricant between the moving parts, especially in the gaps on the bottom of the box?
I would decrease flow rate and print speed, maybe you have slight overextrusions and slightly unclean corners.
Like i wrote in the description, i printed these on 3 different printers, because i know it is not the easiest print, but i had no issies with a single one.
Also did you print the testpart?

Yeap i printed the testpart a few times. but as an update I did what you mentioned, lowering the flowrate to 80% and the speed to 80mm/s and its done!, the mechanism works and now the full version of the model is printed. thanks for your answer :)
