You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Absolutely amazing work on this print!
I noticed there were 2 bumps on the side of the GameCube box’s top cover piece; are they there to help you open the box by giving you something to hold onto? I saw that the original cube design didn’t have those, but the Mario puzzle cube version had them integrated with the design. Are the nubs for this piece intentional?
Directions and guide could use some reorganization, it’s disheveled (but easy enough to work out once you start printing some of the files).
I’ll post a photo when I’m completely finished up. I changed the logo dimensions a bit for my print, but I LOVE how you reworked the GameCube faceplate for this!
Thank you so much!
Yes, the little bumps are intentional—they act as finger grips to help open the lid. The original cube didn’t have them because it uses a button that removes all resistance when pressed.
