M87 Guitar – Inspired by the Heart of a Black Hole
The M87 takes its name and inspiration from the first-ever photographed black hole, capturing the essence of mystery and power. Its bold, 3D-printed design and carefully selected Guitar Fetish hardware deliver a guitar that’s as dynamic and intriguing as the cosmos. A true fusion of science, art, and sound.
This print was done with Polymaker Polyterra PLA
(charcoal black & sunrise orange)
I recommend this, or other filament with a matte finish.
I personally used Guitar Fetish hardware and pickups
(JM90 overwound) including the electronics.

Fairly affordable and absolutely awesome sound!
Pretty much every strat-style neck will fit this model.
assembly
the parts fit together very tightly. If too tight, shave/sand the glue surfaces until its snug.
After glueing all parts together; wait a day at least before assembling the rest of the guitar, to let the glue and the parts settle.
Especially the 2 center parts will be very tight, shave and sand until they fit, use clamps to push them together if needed.
Some assembly holes will be too tight, drill them out if needed, then just screw straignt in the plastic.
When installing the electronics drill a small hole for the ground wire from electronics cavity to just in front of the bridge holes.
I also used conductive paint to shield te electronics cavity:

potrings are optional but give a cool touch beneath the volume and tone knobs.
Hardware
The pictures were made using a model with a tremolo bridge, since then, i changed the design to a fixed bridge because its more reliable and less prone to warping over time.
I noticed some parts out of stock, but many guitar parts can be exchanged anyhow here are the exact parts i used in this build:

tremolo bridge
If you choose to print the tremolo bridge, you need a 'shorty' block tremolo bridge. Any will fit, as long as you choose the 39mm block instead of the standard 43mm
