3D model description
Here I exhibit my lobster wind chime. Two sickle-shaped wings turn in the wind. Due to the arrangement of their axes, they turn the crossbar, at the ends of which they are connected with sliding bearings, in the opposite direction. This rod in turn rests on the base, which is a wind blade and ensures that the wind chime is always blown by the wind from the front. It is a lively and lively piece that can be hung on a nylon string, in front of a window, under a canopy or in a tree. You can see some of these figures in action in the Utube video: https://youtu.be/MYNUc6r4FB0 . It also contains a description of how to assemble them.
You can also scale the parts. But then you have to adjust the holes or the nail thickness accordingly.
There are 3 STL files, for the wings you have to print 2 of course. For the s in the slicer, it is best to select the "tree" method with an overhang angle of 45°.
You can paint the 4 sections as you wish and get a very beautiful and lively moving decoration for your house or garden. It is best to hang the wind chime on a nylon thread, for example on a fishing line. This is very stable.
Assembly is quite simple. You need 3 nails, 2 mm thick. Insert them into the holes in the wings with a drop of oil and press them into the holes provided. It is advisable to shorten the nails to the correct length beforehand and to glue them in. Make sure that no glue gets into the bearing holes. The axle holes should be drilled out to 2 mm and the bearing holes to 2.5 mm beforehand. Attach a nylon thread to the eyelet and hang the beautiful piece outside the window or on a tree.
Printing these files works very well for me for both FDM and resin printing. PLA or standard resins are suitable for printing. The longest piece, the wind sword, is about 15 cm long.

For FDM: Ultimaker 3 Extended (PLA works very well here),
and for resin: Phrozen Transform Fast.
Both are excellent devices.
