If you like evil clowns and gory slasher films, Art the Clown is a must-have in any 3d printed wall art collection. The Terrifier film series follows the unspeakable acts of a demonic serial killer clown whose bone-chilling malice towards women is unleashed on Halloween night.
Now, Art the Evil Clown can grace your walls on the unholiest of Holidays (or any time of year!) in silhouette or multicolor fashion.

Art Terrifier Silhouette
The silhouette is the simplest print of all. A single color (black is generally best) and basic slicer settings will get the job done. Use a pin, tack, small nail, or sticky tak putty to attach it to the wall.
Art Terrifier Color Change (Multicolor in Layers)
The Color Change STL file is for traditional printers with just one nozzle and one slot for filament. You can still print in multicolor by using the Pause at Height trick found in most slicers, including Cura, Prusa, and Bambu.
The trick is to start printing in Black, then at the right moment, tell your printer to pause for a color swap, switching to White. Some printers will make an audible BEEP when the pause occurs.
The Color Change.3MF file is specifically for Bambu Studio. The appropriate slicer settings and Pause at Height are already built in. If you have a single-color Bambu printer (no AMS), import this file, slice it, and print. Start with Black, then at the pause, switch to White.
Terrifier Multicolor Wall Art for Bambu AMS Printers
The 3MF file is pre-painted for Bambu AMS printers (and other multicolor compatible machines). You'll need just two colors - preferably black and white.
When you open the 3MF file, you'll find it loads upside down. We do this on purpose because, in our experience, most build plates produce a cleaner bottom surface than top surface. PEI Steel Flex plates are especially nice for bottom-surface printing. If your printer has a cleaner top surface, flip the model over by rotating the Y-axis 180 degrees.
All the recommended settings are in place for you. Feel free to adjust them to your liking, but do not reduce the Z scale or you won't be able to run a thin string through the back to hang it on the wall.
Attach a Line for Wall Hanging
The Multi-Color Terrifier Wall Art files are built with a trio of rectangular openings in the back designed for running a line through. Fishing line or thin wire is recommended because it is stiff enough to push through this very line opening. Thread won't work because it bends too easily.

Start at one of the smaller openings on the left or right and push the line through. You want it to come out on the far end. The large middle opening is for the hanger loop. Tie off the line (or twist the wire) on each end so that it leaves a loop in the middle section as a hanger.
