Design is to be printed out in separate parts in the corresponding colors to eliminate the need to paint. This also allows everyone to be able to print this design regardless of what printer you are using.
I hope to create a wall hanger for this at some point, as it is a wonderful display, but for now, the main sword design is finished, and the test prints came out fantastic! Once all the parts are glued together, with the exception of the threaded handle, this design becomes a nice container. I tested it out with some standard-size cubic dice and will it one did get stuck in the middle blade section, so just be careful with what you put inside.
Printing…
All parts were printed out without .
I increased the infill of the handle to around 35% to increase the weight and durability of it. I also increased the parts fitting on the end of the handle to 45% to help balance this sword.
Assembly…
It should be fairly simple. Dry-fit everything in place before adding glue.
I highly recommend PLA Gloop if you can get your hands on it.

Starbond Adhesives makes a good CA or super glue alternative at a lower price point. I recommend the Medium or Thick formula. I would pick up some Accelerator if you plan on using the Thick formula.
All parts get glued together, with the exception of the threaded handle. Parts are all keyed, so they can only be inserted together in a certain order. The left and right wings are numbered as to which side they belong to, to help clarify which one was designed for which side.
I highly recommend PLA Gloop for these swords as I feel the chemically welded bond of PLA Gloop will withstand the swings, stabs, and twists of an inner child playing around with the sword way better than any CA or super glue would.
Suggested Filaments
I used these magnets for this design 12 x 3mm Magnets They are not needed, but do complete the design with a more finished feel. You will have an easier time aligning the handle halves together and threading it together with the magnets.
eSun silk Cyan PLA or 3DHoJor Silk Blue, which I picked up as a cheaper alternative and found was just as good and printed out fantastically, in fact, the sword in the pics was printed out with both of these filaments, and to be honest, I can't test them apart.
esun silk silver PLA or 3DHoJor Silk Silver
