Printed great even at 50% and 65% on my X1C in glow pla. I wanted something to give to the kids for Halloween. Only thing I would have liked is if the model was laid out straight. While it's cute curled up I'll be printing 50 or so to give out for Halloween which will take a lot longer with so few fitting on the build plate.

I'll try to make some un-curled versions sometime in the next few days.

In the meantime, you can find an updated curled version (Short, Long, and Extra Long) with a new and improved Snap-Flex t and better bed adhesion via the links in the model description

Thank you. It actually wasn't as bad as expected I was able to knock out 60 of them so far for Halloween. I can see that the curled version being be good for smaller printers. Thanks for the design I'm sure the kids will love them.

I printed a couple of these and the first one I printed ended up breaking at the middle of the spine. I didn't even tug it that hard. I was able to connect it back together so that portion doesn't move but it was disappointing. I haven't messed around with the second large one I printed yet. The smaller ones seem to be okay though.

Printed with https://us.polymaker.com/products/polyterra-gradient-pla - I printed the medium tolerance model too. They look fantastic with this color too.

I just ed an updated version that has a newer Snap-Flex t that's more durable.

You can also find the short and extra long versions over on Thangs for free for 1 week to celebrate 1 year of Snap-Flex. The links to my website in the model description should get you there

This was my first ever print on a new machine. Downsized andMade with white elegoo filament on Neptune 4 plus. Came out perfect. Iโ€™m having trouble with printing in silk. Same size, looked great, broke in a couple spots. Next one was bigger, slowed down, up temp a little and it came off of the bed near the end โ€ฆ:(. Advice?

I'm flattered you chose this for your first print on a new machine!

Personally, I avoid silks for these because they're so soft and they don't hold up well to any kind of stress. I have a few notes about material choice and settings in the print settings section.

Your instinct to print it bigger is good because it will have more material to hold up to the strain. I would use some sort of bed adhesive if you're having trouble with it sticking. Silks will always wear down faster with time though.

There are also a few companies starting to make filaments that are shiny like silks but aren't as weak. Those would probably be a good alternative.
