Printed on a 8k resin printer. Super detailed. Yes the finer details (like the mace) do come out nicely. Yes you do need s - but do not need to slant. I use Chitubox Basic and added auto s. You do need fine clippers to clip off as many of the s you can get to - do not simply break off the s.

Printed it (ill post pictures later) and had every single mace head come off without exception. Everything else printed nicely, so I ended up just clipping them off of each and not worrying too much about it. But the weapons could use a smidge thickening and reinforcement along the attatchment points.

Models are great, but indeed smaller pieces like swords, staffs etc. break easily, even on my resin printer. also the knight's shield doesnt print completely, will try to priny under an angle to see if this works better.

printed with s. keeps breaking small pieces like queens staff, kings legs, bishops staff. all just to get the s off. did you use standard, tree or some special way? im using a bambu lab x1 carbon. pawns are fairly easy to do. others have such small pieces and removal of s is breaking them

I'm not the maker. I just read his specs and he says he doesn't recommend using an FDM printer for these. I think you'd really need a resin printer for the details

Glad to hear you are putting in the time to develop an essential 3d printer skill. I use chitubox and start with auto s before tweaking them. I printed hollow and angled them backwards to reduce suction.

Hello new to resin printing, I made all the pieces in a transparent blue everything is ok, I cleaned them in a wash and cure and then hardened them, but I find them rough. Can anyone tell me how to make them smooth?

you should share your make! I usually don't wash transparent resin because it tends to get frosty. Consequently, I have to zap it in UV light for a lot longer to cure the outside. Maybe the "roughness" is from washing? Share your pics.

You could always spray paint with a triple high gloss coat of rustoleum.

Regardin the Fan-art Harry Potter Chess set I found here: https://cults3d.sitegames.net/en/3d-model/art/harry-potter-chess According to the license, I have to give attribution, but I don't see who was the artist. I am 3D printing these for free. No cost at all to my niece who I am giving these to as a free gift, not even resin cost or my time. How do I give attribution when the artist is not named?

Thank you so much for making these! They look great from my Elegoo Mars 3 Pro 4K. I'll my make photos soon once they're all done. ONE SUGGESTION: Open each file in Microsoft 3D builder first and repair them. I think there may be some flipped normals or something. Then save with the same name and print.

use 0.1 or 0.2 mm nozzle with least available layer height and outer wall thickness ..... use custom s ... turn on overhang printable, you can print any miniature with high detailing

I don't recommend printing with filament printer. If printing with resin, tilt toward back at 30 degrees, make sure many s on on bottom. I would recommend hollowing out and adding a few drain holes.

Hello! I use a anycubic photon mono resin printer. I wanted to print the pieces by scaling them to 65% to make them a bit smaller

I read/watched tutorials, mostly speaking of tilting 30 ~ 45 degrees and putting a lot of on the back side of the models? Do you do that as well for your prints?
