3D model description
Extreme Dinosaurs is an American animated series produced in 1997 based on a 1996 Mattel toy line. This series is a spin-off of the animated series Street Sharks (where they first appeared as Dino Avengers).
The series is in the same vein as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Jurassic Park. It aired in syndication as part of Bohbot Entertainment's Bohbot Kids Network block, where it aired for one season in 1997.
The series featured a Tyrannosaurus, a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, and a Pteranodon who were transformed into super warriors by an interdimensional criminal named Argor Zardok. They rebelled against the alien criminal and fought with the second group of warriors from Argor known as the evil Raptors. Eventually, the Raptors' goal is to cause global warming by increasing the Earth's temperature, which will make life on Earth more comfortable for the dinosaurs.
Both Extreme Dinosaurs and Street Sharks were a toy line to accompany the show. The toys were mostly made of flexible vinyl and included one or more weapons. Extreme Dinosaurs had a series that also proliferated during the 1990s.
