You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
There are a number of issues with this model. The base isn't the correct size. It's off by more than 3%. The base has overhangs. The flatspot where godzilla is supposed to go, some of the water hangs over the flat spot. The spine section doesn't go in correctly either. It sticks out and doesn't go in flush. All of these issues caused me to have to to spend 3+ hours sanding trying to find the rubbing spots so things would fit mostly flush so they could be glued in place. I had to use hot glue to fill in the gaps and paint the hot glue.
