TESERACT
The model 001, is one of my first works, and it was one of the first ideas that left me happy to be able to be "projected".
In the beginning, everything was experimental, everything was a possibility, and everything was, simply, theoretical.
Then, it all became, evolution....
The Tesseract, it grows inward, or, does it grow from within?
How thick must the shadow of a line be, in order to be perceived?
Only time will tell...
WHAT ARE PROJECTIONS?
Turn off the lights, find a dark place, put aside your fears, turn on your imagination, and Bring the Night to Life, with Projections, and the shadow projector.
The PROJECTIONS, are small plates designed and shaped to allow light to through them, with the aim of producing and projecting images made of light and shadow, in the dark.
WHAT ARE THEY FOR?
Each Projection has been designed to fulfill three fundamental objectives, the first is to generate an image, or specific figure, made of light and shadows.
The second, is to be able to be printed on plastic, or PLA.
And the third, is to be able to be attached to an "assemblable device" with the ability to turn your cell phone into a projector, using the light of the flashlight.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE PROJECTIONS?
Each Projection has a particular shape, comes from a particular idea, or is inspired by a particular vision.
TIPS FOR EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY
The image generated by this projection, requires a specific point to be observed in the most optimal way possible.
Therefore, the result we obtain, will be relative to the conditions with which we generate the image.
- In order to be able to find that point, dark and wide places or surfaces are recommended.
The darker the environments, the better definition will be obtained.
A flashlight can be useful as a light source, pay attention to the amount of leds used since each led serves as an additional light source, and the more leds the light source has, the more the figure we project will be distorted.
It is recommended to use single led flashlights, or the old bulb.
The cell phone flashlight is the most indicated to fulfill the function of light source, and not only because it has a single led, but because the projection itself was designed to be used with it.
It is recommended to pay attention to the moment when we manipulate lights, in the dark.
In the dark, our eyes gain sensitivity, and can be hurt by the lights of our light source.
For best results, it is recommended to avoid light losses coming from our light source, and in addition, pay attention to light pollution.
If you want to get the best results, I recommend the Shadow Projector, which was designed "exclusively" to accomplish this task.
