Would you like to Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi 💜.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Nice Idea, I love 3D puzzles as well as how everyone will be able to make his/her own unique color mixups. Nevertheless I am worried because the current 3D renderings of the full assembly seem tight... like there is no tolerance between pieces. The tolerance (gap) between ed pieces for an FDM 3D printer is 0,3mm.
Have you designed this with tolerances in mind?
Hey! I made a tolerance of 0.2 betfeen the Bricks - so it'll get a good connection. BUT! The Project needs good FLOW & BED callibration (flow - for good bricks connections, bed adhession - not to squish the print on the bed - that'll make "elephant foot).
Personnally Printed couple of colors on Prusa MK3S+, Prusa Mini & Bambulab X1. Ofcourse - best connection was with Bambulab X1. Prusa MK3S+ made good print but the flow there was not calibrated so the bricks connected with some effort. The lest: Prusa Mini - first print vent not good because I Squished the print too much to the bed. Could see the "elefant foot" that made bricks too tight to connect. Made the adjustments to Zoffset & everything vent good.
Good luck!
Ok, perfect!
