3D model description
First, at 2001, I wanted to design the entire temple but gave up as I found the video quality for walk through sequences would not be as good as I expected.
There are some renderings from this time as well.
The magnificent temple on the Acropolis of Athens, known as the Parthenon, was built between 447 and 432 BCE in the Age of Pericles, and it was dedicated to the city’s patron deity Athena. The temple was constructed to house the new cult statue of the goddess by Phidias and to proclaim to the world the success of Athens as leader of the coalition of Greek forces which had defeated the invading Persian armies of Darius and Xerxes.
Over the last several centuries the Temple has undergone a variety history.
This video is a very good simulation to see what happened.

If you are interested in architecture you can watch a simulation of the construction with all details, like I first wanted to do ;-)

This printable model presents a section of the northwest corner of the temple of Parthenon, scaled to 1:50.
It is an accurate reproduction based on drawings I could buy from the Archaeological Society at Athens in 2001, called The Architecture of Parthenon (Ἡ ἀρχιτεκτονική τοῦ Παρθενῶνος').
There are only slightly modifications to make the parts printable.
To take it precise, the columns should lean inward. The tilted axis of these columns converge 1 1/2 miles into the sky. The floor should have a spherical surface.
The column of this model are not only different in diameter, they even show its 11 parts. This is visible marked by grooves, different for each column.
Furthermore, the distances between the columns are averaged to have the possibility to extend on both sides. This also applies to the base plates.
