Hello I'm trying to figure out how to add the .04mm nozzle presets to orca slicer with my sv08 already set up and I'm not understanding what to do from the video
Oh, sorry. Inside Orca Slicer, use the menu commands. You might have to extract the zip file somewhere before you can import them. Sorry, I cannot really give you more help. Maybe I'll demo it in a future video, good idea. But if you look at the description, I've provided the few changes there too, which you can just add manually in the stock SV08 presets.
Hello Gergo, i am hopeful you can help me figure out a problem. I ed your laest macro config. Thank you for all your work on that by the way. but now since i have implemented them the add pause function and M600 command in orcaslicer for adding those commands at a specific layer no longer works. orca says its added the command at the desired layer but the printer never stops during the print. any advice you may have on how to resolve the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, when i start "Bed Leveling" on my stock SV08 display, then the bed heats up to 65°C and then the leveling starts.
For some strange reason the nozzle doesn't heat up before leveling. I had a cold filament blob hanging 2mm down from my nozzle and duing leveling it measured not the nozzle tip but the filament blob on the build plate. This is stupid.
Is there a way to heat up the nozzle before bed leveling automaticly, so it will melt a filament blob away?
Yes, that’s correct — just v4. I keep the older versions available in case someone doesn’t like any changes between versions, but so far, nobody has reported any issues with any of them.
You could add the macro call in there qgl macro. I wouldn't though. There are small prints when you don't need so long heat soak. Also if you follow a previous print you wouldn't need to soak for so long. Also, the way I recommend is to turn on the printer before a print, and immediately you can start the heat soak, while you prepare the model in the slicer. It would add to the print time if the soak would only start with the print.
Yes, this is a system setting. By default idle timeout is set to 15 minutes on the SV08. Please see the description above, I've now included the lines you can change in printer.cfg to extend the idle timeout. I also included a screenshot of the setting.
When I use shutdown the LED blinks for a while if the machine is cooling off.
Also sometimes it beeps 3 times yet the 3rd beep seems to get stuck until I shut off the machine.
Yes, it works the same way for me. I don't mind the long beep, it reminds me to turn it off quickly. But probably increasing the delay at the end of the macro should fix the fickleness. As for the blinking light, it is supposed to dim, but Sovol has the LED configured wrong. You should update cycle_time: 0.01 in the section [output_pin main_led].

Does File > Import > Import configs not work? Make sure to have the stock SV08 presets enabled, this will create derivative presets for those.
I was trying to figure out how to import them not very good with computers
If yo could tell me how and where to import them and thanks for the help
